"We are enthusiastic about the high number of people motivated for personal fulfillment through continuing education and foreign travel," says Ivo Heemskerk, marketing manager of PlusAbroad.com. "Our world is moving in a direction where education is seen as something to be desired, not just required and many adults want to learn for the sake of learning. Becoming educated is an achievement people want to accomplish for itself now. PlusAbroad was founded to show the value of non-competitive education combined with entertainment and travel."

PlusAbroad’s intention that together we can do, see and learn was born for me personally about 10 years ago while I watched Baby Boomers dancing sevillanas at the Feria de Sevilla in the south of Spain. An insinuating dance, I sensed optimism, life, sexuality, style and rebelliousness, all the qualities we assumed vanished with age having nothing to do with age, but enduring. Today, with PlusAbroad I consider it an honour to be able to share all this with you.
